Bonfire Workshop

Bonfire Workshop is a local South East London design and ceramics studio founded by Lizzie Richards. Lizzie’s background in costume design brings a colourful and theatrical aesthetic and decorative approach to shape and surface. She carries her interest in storytelling over from working in film and television, thinking about how and why people use everyday objects and the stories behind them. Lizzie works mostly in wheel-thrown stoneware and food-safe glazes. Her style is always evolving but aims for a soft simplicity; minimal but not hard-edged.
