Melin Tregwynt

The Melin Tregwynt Mill has been in operation since 1841, and continues to employ over fourty local Welsh weavers, who use the same, centuries-old traditional weaving techniques as when the mill first opened. They spin the fleeces of local sheep into yarn, and weave their distinctive and fabulous designs, taking inspiration from traditional Welsh weaving patterns dating back to the Middle Ages. The family run business prides itself on the natural sustainability of their wool.
