Casa Cubista

Casa Cubista is a happy accident that started with the idea to share all of the things designed and discovered in Portugal with friends around the world. Founded in Olhão, a bustling fishing port on Portugal’s Algarve coast, the name ‘cubista’ comes from the unusual whitewashed and tiled cubist style of buildings found in the alleys and streets of the old town.

They are in love with the honest, traditional materials – terracotta, cotton, cane, jute, linen and wool – used to create their collections, and collaborate closely with traditional craftspeople and small, family-owned businesses to bring it all to life.

They believe it’s handmade that makes a home and wants to celebrate the perfectly imperfect, handcrafted with care using skills handed down across generations.
