Having studied surface pattern design at the University of the Arts in London, specialising in traditional hand printing, Sophia launched her namesake studio in 2019. Sophia had a view to provide sustainable fabric and accessories in traditional craft designs which will bring colour and pattern to any space. In 2021, Laura joined the studio. Her passion for textiles and background in interior design, coupled with Sophia’s creative eye, made the perfect partnership, not to mention the fact they were already good friends and sisters-in-law.
Playful, timeless and bursting with colour, the studio marries maximalism and classic English craft resulting in contemporary collections that are sure to add a frills and flair to your home.
Sophia Frances Studio regularly reviews their production, making sure that the environment and being sustainable is at the heart of every action and decision they make. Their Linens are ethically and environmentally farmed and sourced from a Masters of Linen Certified organisation, using only European Flax®.
