About Archivist
Archivist is run by husband and wife duo William and Sarah, and over the last 20 years of production they have expanded with new staff including their own daughter – truly a family run business. They all share the conviction that gift-giving is a joy, and that the world is a bit brighter when things look beautiful. The company was founded in 1998, taking impetus from the archives of the Natural History Museum in London, and they now collaborate with artists all over the world, creating the finest range of British Letterpress Cards, Prints and, of course, matches. Archivist products pride themselves on their superior high quality, and consistently aim to ensure integrity in manufacture, continuing their exciting manifesto that “unfettered consumerism” must be replaced by “conscious giving”.

ABOUT LAMP LDN:
Our Mission
We are committed to providing a space where you can shop for beautiful products that have been made in a way that is sustainable for the planet and kind to the people on it.
We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
