About Archivist
Archivist is run by husband and wife duo William and Sarah. But over the last 20 years they have slowly welcomed some other brave souls into the mix. With guest appearances by their daughter Madeleine, and the very brave Katie (the first employee not to be a member of the family) to the newest additions at their Letterpress printers. They all share the conviction that gift giving is a joy. Making the world a bit brighter with a mix of beautiful things and a touch of William’s wit.
Founded in 1998, and as the name might suggest; the archives of the Natural History Museum is where it began. Although the archives have changed the enthusiasm for hunting for images has not gone. Collaborating with artists all over the world, they have created the finest range of British Letterpress Cards, Prints and lest they forget our luxury matches.
Ink and Paper have always been central ingredients to the business. They are now the proud owners of Britain’s largest dedicated Letterpress printing facility. Therefore allowing them to have the wherewithal to take their famous quality and innovation to even higher levels.

ABOUT LAMP LDN:
Our Mission
We are committed to providing a space where you can shop for beautiful products that have been made in a way that is sustainable for the planet and kind to the people on it.
We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
