About Bermondsey Street Bees
Founded in 2007, Bermondsey Street Bees is a sustainable beekeeping practice offering award-winning raw honeys a wide range of consultancy and events services.
They believe in artisanal raw honey production and traditional ways of beekeeping that always place bee welfare first. They have their own apiaries inside and outside London and also keep bees for some visionary organisations who support their sustainability agenda through their own commitments to net biodiversity gain.
Working alongside businesses, government and charities, they create best practice templates for keeping honeybees in cities without negatively impacting wild pollinators. Through their pioneering ‘Green Offset’ policy, they plant pollinator gardens in their own community and in collaboration with commercial entities. This is just one of many types of partnership that Bermondsey Street Bees has established to advance understanding of honeybees and the issues surrounding their survival.

ABOUT LAMP LDN:
Our Mission
We are committed to providing a space where you can shop for beautiful products that have been made in a way that is sustainable for the planet and kind to the people on it.
We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
