As a small, independently owned business we charge all delivery fees at cost. This price also does not include any packaging costs. We work with small makers, many of whom can’t offer normal retail margins, so we are unable to absorb any shipping costs. We are always looking for new ways to reduce this charge, however we cannot currently do so in such a way that doesn’t impact on the viability of our business.

The ceramic production became well known, especially for its artistic quality, both at a national and international level. Bordallo Pinheiro remains faithful to tradition through the use of ancestral manufacture techniques and the naturalistic motifs at the root of the brand’s great project. We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
