About Claus Porto
Claus Porto has a rich and unique history – founded at the end of the19th Century, Ferdinand Claus and George Schweder, two entrepreneurs from Germany, decided to create a soap and fragrance factory in the historic Portuguese city of Porto. The factory continues to produce soaps to this day. Over four generations, they have always remained authentic, with fragrances that have been inspired by the scents and landscapes of Portugal and enriching their legacy as an ambassador for Portuguese architecture and traditions. Combining art and craft, the brand has always maintained a deep respect for artisanal manufacture, with a strong artistic influence through their exquisite and uniquely illustrated packaging.
