Glass Jug
Late Afternoon
The Late Afternoon studio is set in the foothills of a National Park mountain range in the Balearic Islands, where the nearby crystalline sea waters act as inspiration for these jewel-like glass jugs. Each jug is blown and shaped by hand by glass artists, who use centuries of local expertise and 100% recycled materials to make these exquisite pieces. Satisfyingly weighty, every jug can be used to serve delicious drinks or display flowers, and due to their handmade nature, no two jugs are the same, adding to their unique charm.

About Late Afternoon
Late Afternoon is the work of two old friends living in different cities but on a perpetual search for domestic treasure. It has been gradually brought to life over cañas and croquetas in Madrid, and tea and Mini Cheddars in London. Stumped by unattainable luxury and dismayed by cheap throw-away homogeny, they believe in a new way, where quality and accessibility converge. Character, craftsmanship and love are the ingredients of heirlooms-to-be. They have collected quality things that they love, made by artisans and family businesses with stories to tell. These are pieces that will live long, weaving themselves into the stories of your home.

ABOUT LAMP LDN:
Our Mission
We are committed to providing a space where you can shop for beautiful products that have been made in a way that is sustainable for the planet and kind to the people on it.
We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
