This ceramic vase was designed and made by hand in Portugal, using a colourful stripe design and gourd shape to make your home decor pop. Each piece is thrown by hand, before being hand painted and dipped into a clear glaze. Due to its handcrafted nature, some marks in the glaze are natural and to be expected, and will not affect the use or durability of the piece.

About Casa Cubista
Casa Cubista wants to share all of the things designed and discovered in Portugal. Founded in Olhão, a bustling fishing port on Portugal’s Algarve coast, the name ‘cubista’ comes from the unusual whitewashed and tiled cubist style of buildings. Casa Cubista collaborates closely with traditional craftspeople and small, family-owned businesses to create their collections.

We are committed to providing a space where you can shop for beautiful products that have been made in a way that is sustainable for the planet and kind to the people on it.
We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
