This Heart Garland is sustainably made using recycled materials. Skilled artisans in Jaipur screen print beautiful designs onto each side of ten differently shaped, hand crafted paper cuttings inspired by bejewelled sacred hearts and Mexican folk art, creating a burst of romance. Each piece is hand sewn along a length of strong cotton thread with hanging loops at either end, meaning you can hang your garland straight away.

About East End Press
East End Press is a printing and design studio based in the east end of Glasgow. They design colourful decorative objects for your home, and work with crafts people all over the world to create beautifully made objects using traditional crafts and processes. Inspired by folk arts, they focus on colour and pattern, making each product unique. All products are hand printed, hand painted or hand dyed and they have personally visited all their manufacturing partners. To create their paper products they work with fair trade SEDEX certified printers in Jaipur which means everyone involved in the supply chain is paid a fair wage and treated fairly and safely. They only use recycled paper in their products and packaging, and everything is printed with non toxic water based inks.

We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
