Lambswool Blanket
The Tartan Blanket Company
£125.00 – £135.00
For their Lambswool range The Tartan Blanket Co. use 100% pure lambswool, the highest quality sheep’s wool. It’s gathered from a lamb’s first shearing, meaning the fibres are smoother, stronger and hold more elasticity than any other wool. The unique crimps in the individual strands generate air pockets that retain heat while repelling moisture, keeping you warm when you’re cool and cool when you’re warm. They are designed in the Edinburgh studio in either soft or vibrant block colours or in a range of check patterns.

About The Tartan Blanket Company
The Tartan Blanket Co. create natural products that bring warmth to people’s homes, as well as having a positive impact on the world around us. Founded by Emma and Fergus, they bring a modern approach to the traditional Scottish tartan blanket. To create their Lambswool range they have partnered with a family mill in Inner Mongolia which uses traditional people-led farming methods, putting the animals first. They only employ local dryers, spinners and weavers, supporting the local village community. Due to their climate and farming methods, the area is known for having the softest lambswool and cashmere worldwide.

ABOUT LAMP LDN:
Our Mission
We are committed to providing a space where you can shop for beautiful products that have been made in a way that is sustainable for the planet and kind to the people on it.
We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
