Vintage Star Blanket
Melin Tregwynt
£380.00 – £418.00
The Melyn Tregwynt Mill has been in operation in Wales since 1841, and continues to employ over 40 local Welsh weavers, who use the same traditional weaving techniques as when the mill opened. The Vintage Star Blanket exhibits a stylish balance of pattern and colour, inspired by a midcentury design taken directly from the Melin Tregwynt archive, ready for a renewed lease of life. This woven, wool blanket is reversible, so you can display both sides of the fabric according to choice.

As a small, independently owned business we charge all delivery fees at cost. This price also does not include any packaging costs. We work with small makers, many of whom can’t offer normal retail margins, so we are unable to absorb any shipping costs. We are always looking for new ways to reduce this charge, however we cannot currently do so in such a way that doesn’t impact on the viability of our business.
About Melin Tregwynt
Founded in a remote wooded valley on the Pembrokeshire coast, the Melin Tregwynt Mill has been spinning the fleeces of local farmers into yarn since the 17th Century. Their unique designs draw on the Welsh tradition of weaving, which dates back to the Middle Ages, and the family run business pride themselves on the natural sustainability of wool.

ABOUT LAMP LDN:
Our Mission
We are committed to providing a space where you can shop for beautiful products that have been made in a way that is sustainable for the planet and kind to the people on it.
We source our products from independent designers mostly in the UK and Europe. We always look for local (UK based) options before we look further afield. We also try to support new and emerging brands and makers. Most of our products are made in small production runs, by artisans or the designer themselves. Where larger manufacturers are involved we ensure that they adhere a fair and transparent supply chain and do not use sweatshops, trafficked, bonded, child or forced labour.
